Bruce Scotton, MD from Larkspur, California, is especially interested in working with people who see healing their wounds and problems as only one part of an ongoing effort to develop themselves as far as possible. This effort includes development beyond the personal into familial, community, global, and spiritual realms. For the last twenty years he has worked with two indigenous medicine people from the Sierra Madre in Mexico, learning the pre-Colombian traditions in Mesoamerica. Bruce is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, University of California, San Francisco, and works in the state prison system as a psychiatrist. He is on the board of directors of two community mental health NGOs.
