Maria Robinson from Healdsburg, California, was a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras. She is active with the Honduras Solidarity Network and is interested in organizing delegations to Honduras, particularly focusing on outreach to the 5,000 returned Peace Corps volunteers who have served in Honduras. She is currently involved in helping a group of coffee growers in Lempira, Honduras find better markets for their coffee and combat coffee rust disease. She was on the board and treasurer of the tri-national Coalition for Justice in the Maquiladoras, involved in such campaigns as Gap, Duro and Hyundai union struggles in Querétaro, Rio Bravo, and Tijuana, Mexico. She also serves on the board of the MacJannet Foundation, fostering better international understanding among students in France and the United States. Maria is an investment adviser whose specialty is high social impact investments.
