George Barahona is a Marin County native and started working in the nonprofit sector during the pandemic, specifically in the Latin American nonprofits. George has a background in Journalism and Photojournalism. George got his start in activism when he started writing for El Tecolote, which is the Mission District’s Spanish Bilingual news publication.
