Helen Jaccard has been an activist, organizer, author and photographer focusing on peace, nuclear abolition, and the environmental costs of war and oppression by the US government and companies since 2006.  She has traveled to Cuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Venezuela and Mexico.  She documents delegation activities with extensive notes and photos and writes articles about what she learns.  Her most recent delegation was to Guatemala with Rights Action, where she wrote her second article about the impacts of US and Canadian mines on the nearby communities. From 2015-25 she was the Project Manager for the famous anti-nuclear sailboat, the Golden Rule, a project of Veterans For Peace.
