TFA Statement on Haiti

Task Force on the Americas supports Haitians’ demands for an end to US/UN interference and respect for their sovereign right to form a transitional government of public safety and create a foundation for the return to democratic rule. Haitians are rightfully demanding the cessation of terror inflicted by the US backed Haitian National Police and paramilitaries working with the current unelected PHTK regime of Ariel Henry.
We strongly oppose all efforts by the US to intervene militarily in Haiti, either alone or under the guise of the UN, OAS, or any other constellation.
We affirm the Haitian people’s right to self-determination and to manage their own governance, resources and social institutions without meddling by neocolonialist and imperialist interests.

As reported by Yahoo.com, protesters in Haiti are furious at the looming US inspired invasion and say “No to the Canadians, no to the Americans. You are monsters, you don’t have solutions. You are chaos. You are behind the gangsterization of crime.”
