In early July a 20 person delegation from Task Force on the Americas and National Lawyers Guild visited Venezuela.  They met with a wide range of people, from the Vice President of the Supreme Court to local community activists and leaders.  Many people in Venezuela compare the current situation to the economic war waged against the Chilean Allende government prior to the coup there.

On Thursday August 20 there will be a report back to the community at La Pena Cultural Center, 6 – 8 pm.
